Vancouver Christmas Tree Lighting

British Columbia’s tallest tree was lit on November 29th as this annual event marked its 18th year. It’s estimated that the festivities had 100,000 spectators between those there and watching a livestream. If you didn’t make it to the event, you can always snap a photo with it over the holiday season and while you’re at it, visit the Robson Square Ice Rink. This year from December 1st-26th, you can also go on the nearby ferris wheel! Find the tree at the Vancouver Art Gallery Plaza, less than a five-minute walk from either the Burrard or Vancouver City Centre SkyTrain stations.
