Today we’d like to introduce you to Brad Stein.

Hi Brad, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Intracorp Homes is a Canadian developer of several thousands of condominiums in numerous highrise projects that dot the beautiful Vancouver skyline over the past 4 decades. As President of Intracorp Texas, Brad led the entry of Intracorp into the Texas market in 2018 with a goal to become the premier condo developer in the state of Texas, starting here in Austin.

The first Intracorp Texas project was the majestic 44 East Ave, a 50-story high rise in the Rainey St. District, completed in 2022. The One Oak and Congress Lofts at St. Elmo condo projects in South Austin are set to deliver in 2024. Leland South Congress is the newest Intracorp project to launch sales in fall 2024, which will be an exceptional community of 265 luxury homes and abundant amenity spaces above 23,000 square feet of curated retail, designed by Michael Hsu, and located right on South Congress Avenue.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The condo business is not for the faint of heart. Whether its dealing with entitlements with the city, raising capital, marketing and selling the condos, or trying to keep the construction on time and on budget, every day presents distinctive challenges and opportunities. But nothing beats turning a vision on a piece of paper for a tract of land into actually creating a special place where people live and become part of the larger surrounding community

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Intracorp?
We specialize in high end residential offerings (for rent and for sale) and each project is unique with a great location, design, and amenity offering. Our tagline is “Building the Extraordinary” and we take that brand message to heart in designing the inside and outside of each of our projects. Our projects are the result of creativity, planning, hard work and intense collaboration with our designers. We have a tight knit team that all care deeply about the city that we live in and the communities that we create. We feel an obligation when building something that will be part of the neighborhood fabric or part of the skyline.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
My advice to those who are starting out: Don’t be afraid to listen and be a sponge. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and keep learning – when I was starting out I may not have asked all the questions I wanted to for fear that someone might think it was a stupid question. Don’t be afraid to share your ideas to foster collaboration. Seek out advice from people you want to learn from. Be a team player and believe in the power of teamwork. Be passionate about what you do. Do what you need to do to stay healthy (physically and mentally). And don’t forget to have fun.
