Sustainability isn’t just an initiative for us – it’s a natural evolution of what we stand for. By embedding it into our work, we strengthen our ability to create lasting value for our homeowners, residents, and local communities.
For nearly five decades, our dedication to delivering extraordinary homes and experiences has earned us a reputation as one of North America’s most trusted real estate developers. Our sustainability strategy is an extension of that commitment, ensuring we balance economic, social, and environmental responsibilities in a rapidly changing world. I am pleased to introduce our inaugural Sustainability Report, which highlights our progress and the meaningful steps we are taking to build a more sustainable future.
Through deep collaboration with our team members, partners, and stakeholders, three key sustainability priorities emerged: ensuring governance for organizational resilience, making positive community impacts, and improving our environmental impacts. The practices supporting these priorities not only drive our sustainability efforts but also reinforce our ability to deliver much-needed housing and foster long-term economic growth, which is fundamental to this ongoing work.
Transparency is fundamental to our approach, and we recognize that sustainability is an ongoing journey. One of our values at Intracorp is respectful integrity – we practice this by doing what we say we’re going to do. By publishing these reports, we hold ourselves accountable to our commitments while continuously learning and evolving. What matters most is that we remain thoughtful about our choices and steadfast in our role as responsible corporate citizens.
