As an organization that prides itself on building strong foundations, how much do we covet the elegant sturdiness of the inimitable Series 7 Chair? (A lot, that’s how much.) Designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hanson and unveiled in Helsingborg, Sweden in 1955, this iconic chair has a moulded plywood shell – in a single, strong unshakeable piece for both seat and back – supported on a solid steel base. (Strong? Unshakeable? Solid? Hmmm, words we can relate to.)
