As a company with great respect for successful partnerships, how enamored do you think we were when we were reminded of the glorious Eames Lounge and Ottoman duo? In a word: Very. Not only does the set call to mind the Sinatra chorus: “You can’t have one without the other…”, so too do its designers — married couple Ray and Charles Eames, who personified symbiosis. More than half a century after its 1956 launch, the Eames Lounge and Ottoman remain as cherished as ever.
