The quaint college town of Claremont, nestled at the base of the foothills in Southern California, 30 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, is home to new territory and marks the first community Intracorp will be bringing to this neighborhood. Docente at Old School House will be opening this summer.

Lovingly known as the city of trees and PHD’s, Claremont’s charming street lined trees and historically well-preserved homes are just as respected as the town’s 7 private colleges, collectively called, The Claremont Colleges.

We selected this infill site for its extraordinary location, adjacent to the bustling Old Schoolhouse Shopping Center and a mile away from the historic Claremont Village, where locally owned boutiques, restaurants and art galleries draw shoppers from near and far. Conveniently located between the 10 and 210 Freeways, residents have a short commute to major employment centers, or can take the Metrolink train from the Claremont Station Gold Line, a straight shot to Los Angeles.

New home development opportunities in Claremont are rare, making competition from new home builders in the city non-existent. Claremont presents a new opportunity for Intracorp as we venture further east into the Los Angeles basin to develop infill neighborhoods in highly sought-after locations, with little competition.  Coupled with an excellent education system, extraordinary location, and historic charm, Docente will be a new and bright beginning for Intracorp in this neighborhood.
