While we continue to dream about airplane seats, and theater seats, and office chairs around a boardroom table, in this issue of EXTRA we’re marveling at the Fugu Lobby Chair and its striking design. Life is complicated enough at the moment, so we love the simplicity of the pure lines and the expression of a single material purposefully arranged. Plus, Jasper Morrison designed this chair with the intention of achieving a level of comfort with a solid wood seat and back so that no upholstery is needed. Clean, classic, comfortable. This specific chair from the Maruni Collection is absolutely something beautiful that came out of 2020.
