They are known for preparing each order with the freshest ingredients. We recommend trying their eggs benny! – the hollandaise sauce is velvety smooth and made to perfection. The best part about stopping by for a bite? They serve breakfast all day! So, if you can’t make it for brunch, stop by and have a taste of their breakfast menu for dinner.
Cora’s was originally established as a breakfast diner in Montreal in 1987 and has since expanded across the country. Inspired by family traditions, Cora’s offers a large selection of breakfast items all made with the freshest ingredients and have become known for their fruit dishes. Cora’s is also passionate about giving back to the community through the Cora Foundation that helps children in need. Over the past few years they have partnered with the Breakfast Club of Canada to provide food and support for school children.
The Dutch Pannekoek House has been around since 1975 and its establishment comes with a story. Owner John Dys decided to go into the restaurant business after having served in the Dutch military. He wanted to make a new life in Canada and bring the traditions of Dutch pannekoeken with him. Originally called the “Frying Dutchman”, John’s dream eventually evolved into the The Original Dutch Pannekoek House, or “De Dutch”, that we know today. Their menu is filled with Dutch traditions that have been passed down from generations. Every pannekoek is made with a secret blend of ingredients which will leave you wanting more.
If you are looking for a more casual café-style place to grab brunch, the Omega Café is the place to go. Whether you are in the mood for a coffee and pasterie or a full breakfast, you are sure to find something to your liking. Their breakfast is served all day and all their baked goods, including their decadent donuts, are made fresh in house every day. This small café is definitely a hidden gem in the neighbourhood.
