Only one SkyTrain stop away from Gardena you’ll find Port Moody’s Brewers Row, a collection of craft breweries that’s been growing since 2014. Made for a summer Saturday, Brewers Row is the perfect place to meet up with some friends, grab a patio table and quench your thirst.
First up is Twin Sails Brewing, one of the original breweries to set up shop on Murray Street. The name is a nod to the twin brothers who founded Twin Sails and the sailboats that pass by the brewery in Burrard Inlet. You’ve likely seen their “Dat Juice” on a tap list somewhere in the Lower Mainland, as this juicy pale ale is a fan favorite.

Next stop is the first brewery to open on the row, Yellow Dog Brewing. Their easily recognizable logo and distinct taproom quickly made Yellow Dog a popular destination and well-established brand across BC (they’ve since expanded to a second location in Penticton). Enjoy their core beers, such as Play Dead (IPA) and Chase my Tail (Pale Ale) in their taproom, or equally spacious patio.
Step back in time at your next destination when you walk into Rewind Beer Co. Designed to strum on your nostalgia strings, Rewind features the decor of an 80s arcade complete with merch and a food menu to match. Enjoy one of their fresh brews under the neon lights while you watch an endless loop of old school music videos.

Get ready for some dog watching at the next location, because Parkside Brewery has a large, dog friendly patio and there is never a shortage of visitors on a sunny day. With a retro feel and charming touches such as picnic bench flight paddles, Parkside is a welcoming space with delicious brews and rotating food trucks.

The newest brewery on the block, Brave Brewing, has already made its mark on the row with daily events (including poetry slams and flash tattoo pop ups) and a solid tap list with a range of beer styles.
Second to hit Brewers Row back in 2014 is Moody Ales & Co, and the final (or first) stop on your brewery tour. Moody Ales has a Mexican-inspired food menu for humans and Pup Flights for your four-legged friends (yes, you can dog watch on this patio too). Their beer and branding have evolved over the years and have remained a steadfast presence on the row.
Once you’ve had your fill, it’s a quick journey home to Gardena, where you can soak up the last of the sun on the rooftop patio with your favorite 4-pack from the day.
