Centrally and conveniently located, all of Orange County’s most interesting destinations are within easy reach at C2E. But when a weekend calls for sticking close to home, residents have plenty of fun, food and relaxation to choose from—all just 15 minutes or less from C2E.
Friday
Go carless
Uptown Irvine is a commuter’s dream. Park and ride the Metrolink to and from work, out of Tustin or Santa Ana stations. Or, take a leisurely bike ride to work at one of Irvine’s many corporate offices.
Bring down the house
Have your diva or divo moment at Plush, Irvine’s favorite karaoke bar, located minutes from C2E at the Diamond Jamboree shopping center. Gather your coworkers, order some drinks and let the good times roll.

Saturday
Caffeinate
Start your weekend off right with a perfect pour over from Portola Coffee Roasters, one of Orange County’s most celebrated third-wave purveyors of the good stuff. The industrial chic Tustin outpost is located at the Union Market at the The District at Tustin Legacy, just minutes from C2E.
Work it out
Sweat out the week’s woes at Equinox, the luxury fitness club located at the Sports Club Orange County in Uptown Irvine. Take one of the many classes on offer, be your own personal trainer or burn some calories and catch some rays at the outdoor pool and sundeck.
Shop ‘til you drop
With more than 275 retailers, South Coast Plaza is the West Coast’s largest shopping center. Boasting ultra-luxury brands like Louis Vuitton and Chole, mid-priced boutiques such as Maje and Intermix, and fast fashion behemoths like Zara and H&M, there’s something for everyone at South Coast. When hunger strikes, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from including renowned “dumpling heaven,” Din Tai Fung.
Get cultured
End the day with a trip to the theater. Segerstrom Center for the Arts is a world-class performing arts venue that’s home to Broadway tours, community theater and the Pacific Symphony Orchestra.

Sunday
Indulge
Pick up breakfast treats at 85º C, SoCal’s best Taiwanese bakery, conveniently located in Uptown Irvine. Grab a tray and pile it high with self-serve baked goods including danishes, croissants and brioche-like buns. Whatever you do, don’t miss out on the milk pudding, a creamy, buttery, custard-filled pastry that is their signature.
Prep for the week
Ease back into the to-do list by taking a trip to Whole Foods at The District, where grocery shopping becomes a fun and inspiring endeavor. Stock up on all your essentials and grab a quick lunch from Mendocino Farms. For a different kind of supermarket, head to H Mart, the beloved pan-Asian food emporium and food hall that stocks up to 37 different kinds of rice and has an entire aisle dedicated to seaweed!
Strike it out
End the weekend on a high at Bowlmor Lanes, which combines blacklight lanes, arcade games, inventive food and original cocktails to create nightclub-inspired bowling fun. Don’t forget to take advantage of their Sunday Funday special.
