The Aalto Townhomes Sales Team has been busy getting the Sales Centre and two display homes ready to open this February. When you do pay a visit, you’ll be sure to see these friendly faces. Rebecca Permack, Christine Tossa, and Carolyn Cowe along with Sarah Chen make up the lively team at this new community in Coquitlam.
Here are a few things about our extraordinary sales team:
What is your favourite thing about working in real estate?
Rebecca: No two days are alike, and I get to work in an industry amongst some of the most generous, kind and fun people I’ve ever met.
Christine: I love building relationships with each of my clients and creating a special bond.
Carolyn: I love that each day is a new adventure and meeting new people all the time.
Sarah: Meeting all the new people and developing friendships through bonds.
What advice would you give someone looking to purchase their first new home?
Rebecca: Breathe, don’t be afraid to ask questions, and take the leap! It’s going to be great.
Christine: To embrace the excitement!
Carolyn: To treat your first home as a stepping stone to your future
Sarah: Find yourself a good realtor, they will be very helpful in the overall process and make the first time experience less nerve-wrecking.
There are a lot of amenities close to this community. Describe the perfect weekend in Coquitlam.
Rebecca: Start with a morning hike up the Coquitlam Crunch, head down to Awesome Place on The High Street for coffee with friends, grab a snack at Ayoub’s on Glen, then hit Coquitlam Centre and stroll through the shops. Dinner at Cactus Club and a movie in the VIP Theatre at the Silver City Cineplex round out the evening. Sunday is all about taking the dogs to the Glen dog park and brunch at Cora’s.
Christine: My kids love the wave pool at City Centre Aquatic Complex. I love Caffe Divano and all their baked goods and coffee/tea bar.
Carolyn: Coquitlam is full of activities for all ages. I love heading to Lafarge Lake on a sunny day. I like to run around the many paths in Town Centre, feed the ducks and even watch beach volleyball take place in the summer months. My favourite place to grab a bite is Browns on Glen,
Sarah: Grabbing bubble tea at Gong Cha, do some grocery shopping at T&T and spend some leisure time at Coquitlam Town Centre.
What will surprise residents about this community?
Rebecca: It’s in the centre of everything, but away from everything! Walkable yet quiet, accessible, yet tucked away. I think how truly convenient it is to everything will really blow people away.
Christine: I love that it’s a community… all the events that happen such as the teddy bear picnic, fireworks for Canada day, lights at Lafarge. There is a real sense of pride living in Coquitlam.
Carolyn: Nature is at your fingertips. You are just minutes to many trails up on Westwood Plateau and Burke Mountain
Sarah: The location! It is conveniently located near all the shops and the great amenities, yet the community is still nestled away, allowing a peaceful retreat to your home.
What do you think Homeowners will like most about their home at Aalto Townhomes?
Rebecca: Location, location, location! Also, the clean and timeless Scandinavian aesthetic.
Christine: The quiet location yet so close to the city centre plus the amenity building!!
Carolyn: The open kitchens are great for entertaining!
Sarah: The Scandinavian design inspiration, and the uniqueness of the overall community from the color to the finishings.
