In this month’s Insider Realtor blog, we’re excited to introduce you to Susan Carhoun from RE/MAX Crest Realty Westside.

1. At what community did you sell your first Intracorp home?

I sold my first Intracorp home at Belpark. It is truly an amazing development with such high quality finishes. Absolutely outstanding!

2. What do you like the most about being an Intracorp Insider?

I would say receiving exclusive knowledge regarding upcoming Intracorp developments. As Intracorp has a great reputation, it provides peace of mind when purchasing a pre-sale unit.

3. What do you like most about living in Vancouver?

I love living in Vancouver because it is such a picturesque city. I find the different neighbourhoods with their unique qualities and local history quite interesting. Living here, you are so close to all that our city has to offer – beaches, mountains, parks – we have it all!

4. What made you want to become a Realtor?

I wanted to expand my horizons and my path led me into real estate. I attended the University of British Columbia and completed my Bachelor of Arts and Law degrees. For a few years, I practiced Corporate/Commercial law with a focus on Real Estate law. I have been involved in the construction and ownership of both commercial and residential properties and this resulted in my transition into Real Estate sales with RE/MAX. I have loved experiencing this unique time in Vancouver’s real estate market.

5. What is your favourite part of being a Realtor?

My clients! I have met so many wonderful people! Nothing is better than helping people find their next home – it is such a rewarding experience.

6. Craft Beer or Wine?

Wine – especially Red!

7. What is your passion other than real estate?

I love to run. I have a great running group that I have been a part of the past 15 years and Vancouver has the best places to run – the UBC Endowment Lands is one of my favourite spots.

8. What is your favourite view in the city?

I would have to say the view from Jericho Beach looking across to the North Shore Mountains and Downtown – it’s breathtaking!

9. What is your favourite piece in the city?

The Olympic Torch at Coal Harbour – it represents such a great time in the history of our city.

10. What is your favourite restaurant in the city and why?

Bishops on West 4th – the food is amazing and they have such a great atmosphere. I love to send clients there as I know they will have a wonderful experience.

11. What is your motto?

“Treat others how you want to be treated” I always try to treat others the way I would like to be treated and I think if you follow that, it’s hard to go wrong!
